If you have not seen cotton sheets, you can imagine (see photo). It is a nonwoven fabric made of chemical fiber material, formed by the process of Rolling – Shape – Adjust – Iron.  Cotton sheets serve many different purposes in the garment, construction and other industries. Here I mention some types of cotton that are often used for garments (cotton quilting, jacket sewing) that we know.

This is a type of  cotton with 100% polyester material that is produced and made into sheets (size 1.6m-2.0m) and then rolled into each tree with a weight of 10-20kg/tree. Cotton rolls with soft characteristics, good elasticity, cotton fibers are tightly linked together, so it is very durable.

roll

(Padding roll) is normally used for quilting, mattress covers, sofas, quilting windbreakers, coats, etc.

Cotton sheets can be in the form of malleable, porous, very large sheets, or even very thick depending on the intended use, the fibers in which are in a form that is easy to separate. Sometimes I even use a piece of shredded cotton and easily tear it apart to stuff the teddy bear. It is quite easy to tear with soft cotton.

There are a number of specialized names for Padding HAS 905, 907, 909, 912, 915 based on thin thickness, Padding 20g, 60g, 100g, Padding 1OZ, 2OZ,… (we will learn more about the types in detail. This cotton and how to divide it, now we can only hold it and see the thickness, but do not know how to distinguish and use it)

BAMBOO (ARTIFICIAL FEATHER)

Not in the form of sheets, cotton seeds are crushed by the manufacturer into small, round seeds of equal size. Because it is crushed into round particles, it has very good elasticity and bearing capacity, minimizing the product to collapse, shrink or shrink during use.

With such superior properties,  cotton balls are often used to produce products: stuffing air pillows, stuffing head pillows, backrest pillows, high-grade pillows… In the Vietnamese market, the productivity of this product is quite good. high, with increasing output. For those of you who like handmade, using cotton seeds will be less wasteful and safe.
